Full papers guidelines


The authors of accepted abstracts in the categories “Individual Papers”, “Posters”, "Panel Sessions/Roundtable discussions" and “Show, Tell and Talk” are expected to submit full papers through the conference website by 5th April 2014. The accepted full papers will be included in the PCST-2014 Conference Proceedings.

For sending your full paper, please use the template (click here to download the template). The objective of the template is to standardize all papers. Please use the formats .doc or ODT (Open Document Templates) files (as odt; rtf; and sxw).

Figures and tables should be indicated in the text as Figure 1, Figure 2 etc. and should be sent in separate files. Please use the formats .png or .jpg with 300dpi. The attached files should be named as surname_figure1.jpg, surname_figure2.jpg etc. It will be accepted the full paper text and at maximum three figures.

The full paper should have at minimum six pages and do not exceed 10 pages, including the bibliography. The text file must not exceed 2 megabytes. If there are images, each of which must not exceed 2 megabytes.

Save your file as the following model: surname_titleofthefullpaper.doc or ODT (Open Document Templates) files (as odt; rtf; and sxw).

The file should be sent through this website. After having your file read, please go to your restricted area on PCST 2014 website (http://www.pcst-2014.org/restrito.html). In the restricted area, you will click on “My Proposals”. There, you will find a link to open a new page where you will find a specific field to upload and submit your full paper. Attention: there are only one exception. All members of a panel who want to submit a full paper, except the proponent of the Panel, must submit their papers by clicking on “Panel full papers”.

The official language of the conference is English: all the full articles should be submitted in English.

The dimensions for the posters are: 1,2 meters of high (47,24 inches); 90 centimeters of width (35,43 inches). Title must be big enough to be visible from a distance of 2 meters, followed by the name(s) of the author(s), institution, email contact and financial support of the paper (if applicable).


Although it is recommended by its aesthetic acuity, special printing (use of plotter) is not required. The following items shall be observed: introduction, object, material and methods, results, and conclusions.
