The deadline for submitting a proposal for presentation at the PCST Brazil conference was September 7, 2013. We are happy to report that we have received a record number of 559 proposals from 44 countries.
The Latin America region, which is hosting the conference for the first time, generated the most contributions, followed by Europe and Asia. Potential participants from Africa and Oceania have also sent proposals.
Numerous proposals were submitted across the seven categories of submission types, indicating that the 2014 PCST Conference will have rich and varied experiences to share, including performances, videos, round-tables, show & tell, workshops, as well as traditional oral presentations and posters about research projects.
The peer review process of the proposal is underway, its results expected to be released by mid November.
