PCST Conference in Brazil will award grants for young researchers from countries with low GDP
In order to contribute to the participation of young researchers on the 13th International Conference on Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST), the Brazilian Coordination of the Conference will award R$1.280 (approximately US$ 570) grants to assist young investigators from countries with low GDP (Gross Domestic Product) attending the PCST.To find out if your country qualifies as a low GDP, click here.
To apply for the support, candidates must have one or more papers approved on the PCST Conference, and be up to 35 years old. We inform that candidates presenting papers on "Individual papers" or "Panel" will get priority. There will be two grants devoted to residents of Latin America (one from Brazil), as well as another to a different low GDP country.
Candidates must send the following documents:
1 ) Abstract (s) of paper(s) approved
2 ) Short curriculum vitae of up to 2 pages (Font Times News Roman; size 12; 1.5 line spacing)
3 ) Copy of the passport or identity card (for Brazilians only)
The documents must be sent to the email
until 25th April.
The results will be announced to the candidates by email until April 30.
The grants will be given personally during the 13th PCST, from May 6 to 8. The selected students should contact the PCST Secretariat, at Pestana Hotel.
